This move represents a major strategic milestone for the brand, with Brazil taking a leading role in technical development and the creation of sports technologies that reach a global scale.

Two years of research and a focus on responsiveness
Developed through more than two years of research and product engineering, Sky Foam is designed to deliver plush cushioning, high energy return, and mechanical efficiency for runners. The brand aims to balance comfort for daily training runs with dynamic performance for tempo workouts and long-distance races.
To showcase the innovation, the brand hosted an immersive experience in São Paulo at Shopping JK Iguatemi, featuring a high-tech space packed with digital screens and activations led by Gabriel Nogueira (Mundo Tri). The event combined technical presentations on foam density with group run workouts, allowing athletes and guests to test the material's responsiveness directly on the asphalt.

This investment in proprietary innovation underscores Fila's commitment to the high-performance running ecosystem. The brand maintains a strong presence among top national elite athletes, such as Laurindo—a three-time SP City Marathon champion and the first South American across the finish line at the Comrades Marathon, where he placed 14th overall. The rollout of Sky Foam aims to equip athletes with cutting-edge technology for road races and marathons.
