Fila Speedzone 2 Targets the Asian Market Starting in 2027
Developed in Brazil alongside South Korea, the shoe retained its R$ 599 price tag and saw 90% of its presale sell out.
Developed by Fila Brazil in collaboration with the brand's South Korean R&D center, the Speedzone 2 will join the global lineup with Asian sales launching in 2027. The running shoe maintained its R$ 599 price point and saw strong initial demand during presales.
The Fila Speedzone 2, a project conceived by Fila Brazil in direct collaboration with the brand's South Korean research and development center, will take a major step in its international expansion: the shoe will join the manufacturer's global catalog and launch in the Asian market in 2027.
Technical development and global exchange
The model's creation reflects a strategic synergy uniting the brand's Italian heritage, South Korean corporate leadership, and Brazilian development and manufacturing. To reach the final version, the Speedzone 2 required more than two years of engineering work, going through 45 prototypes and logging 20,000 km in road tests before locking in its definitive design.
Commercial strength and franchise positioning
In the Brazilian market, the launch gained immediate traction, with 90% of the initial presale batch selling out. The brand chose to maintain its entry-level positioning in the affordable performance segment, keeping the price at R$ 599, identical to the first generation.
The franchise has established itself as one of the manufacturer's primary commercial pillars in the country, currently accounting for 27% of pairs sold and 30% of total running division revenue for Fila in Brazil. The launch also featured promotional campaigns alongside running community figures and influencers, including Manu Cit as the shoe's ambassador.
