From digital fraud prevention to sports data

It all started in 2022 with the launch of the Um Golpe por Dia project. The initiative aimed to warn the public about common digital scams, motivated after his own mother fell victim to repeated internet fraud. However, the subject quickly proved draining and hazardous due to investigations linked to organized crime, prompting Roberto to seek new avenues for his analytical skills.

With six to seven years of professional experience as an IT and financial auditor, he spotted an untapped opportunity in sports: road races generated massive volumes of timing-mat data, yet no one seemed to audit that information in depth.
