Drivetrain and Components
The bike is built around a SRAM Force groupset, but features an intriguing gearing setup: a 54-tooth chainring up front paired with an 11-34 Shimano cassette out back. The crankset features 170 mm crank arms and Look Keo pedals.
At the touchpoints, the saddle of choice is the Fizik Arione SD, the narrower option in the range. The cockpit is fitted with armrests from 51 Speed Shop alongside a Gorilla bottle cage, designed specifically to keep bottles securely in place over descents and rough road surfaces.
Wheels and Tires
For his rolling stock, Cauã opted for Princeton CarbonWorks wheels: a rear disc wheel and a front Tri Spoke. Both are wrapped in 28 mm Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires, using the TT variant on the front.
Fit and Geometry
Standing 5'9" (1.75 m) tall, Cauã rides a size SM (54) frame. The triathlete explained that he purchased the bike early in the season, drawn by the model's track record in international time trial events and his prior positive experience with the Spanish brand's road bikes.
According to Cauã, dialing in his position was essential: after a bike fit to accommodate the frame's longer reach, the setup became one of the fastest bikes he has ever ridden.
