- Bike: The course includes the "out and back" tunnels, which can "drain" the legs if the athlete doesn't manage their effort correctly. The difficulty of navigating among amateur athletes is a point of concern for professionals, who need to "shout" to clear a path.
- Run: Considered by Enzo to be the best part of the race, the course is flat and features frequent hydration stations. The only "difficulty" mentioned is the transition from bike to run, with a small bridge that can cause a slight snag at the start.
