How AI Drives Practical ROI in Sales and Back Office

Felix Grivot explains the use of synthetic agents in internal support, sales prep, and team AI literacy.

Felix Grivot discusses the direct operational impact of artificial intelligence on Marketing - The Podcast. The strategy deploys synthetic agents to relieve HR operations and accelerate sales prep. Grivot emphasizes that real ROI depends on workforce AI literacy and redesigning core processes.

The adoption of artificial intelligence in business often oscillates between enthusiasm for novelty and the demand for measurable financial returns. In a conversation with Bruno Gimenes on Marketing - The Podcast, Felix Grivot, Head of B2B Marketing at FCamara, discussed the areas where technology delivers real productivity in corporate routines, moving away from generic promises to focus on internal support and sales enablement. The full episode also covers other marketing and data topics in the corporate sector.

In the video above, Grivot details how these tools operate in practice within the organization. According to him, the main immediate gain lies in empowering client-facing teams: "Today, without a shadow of a doubt, what I see yielding the highest return is this support for the sales rep."

Operational efficiency in sales and internal support

Within the company's structure, automation using synthetic agents was directed toward repetitive customer service and employee support tasks. Grivot notes that the organization, which has more than 1,500 employees, implemented trained models to answer recurring HR questions, such as vacation inquiries, freeing up back-office staff for complex demands.

The impact has also reached the sales cycle. "In the sales team as well, meetings are more efficient, reps arrive much better prepared—what often took an hour to prepare for a meeting, they can now do in 10 to 15 minutes," Grivot explains. In marketing, the focus is on maintaining consistent institutional communication and digital channel alignment.

How AI Drives Practical ROI in Sales and Back Office

Managing hybrid teams and synthetic agents

The coexistence of humans and autonomous intelligences is emerging as a new people management challenge. For Grivot, the evolution of these tools will require profound leadership adaptations: "HR will face a challenge, which is precisely managing a team that includes both human and synthetic collaborators."

Citing the company CEO Fábio Câmara's guiding principle—a variation of "practicing what you preach"—Grivot highlights the importance of internally testing the solutions the company sells to the market.

Corporate literacy and process restructuring

To ensure AI investments yield consistent returns, the company conducted literacy programs for all employees. The goal was to teach the effective use of tools and prevent wasted time crafting inefficient prompts.

Bruno notes that technology acts as a support stabilizer, optimizing execution time without replacing human responsibilities. Grivot adds that the greatest gains rely on restructuring existing workflows: "Structural change starts by rethinking the process. That's when ROI truly arrives with greater power." For Grivot, leaving behind magical expectations and redesigning operational stages is the path to achieving real results.
