Personalized Profiles for All Needs
Right from the home screen, users can choose from various accessibility profiles, such as: blind individuals, low vision, hearing impairment, dyslexia, ADHD, motor disorders, and color blindness. Upon selecting a profile, the plugin automatically adjusts the website to meet that specific need.
For example, if the hearing impairment profile is activated, the plugin triggers the Libras interpreter and silences website sounds, creating an optimized environment for the user's experience.
Innovative Personalization and Navigation Tools
The plugin offers a range of options to customize content viewing and interaction:
- Text Customization: Adjust size, spacing, and font for more comfortable reading.
- Colors and Contrast: Change colors, contrast, brightness, and saturation to optimize viewing.
- Facial Recognition Navigation: A Perto Digital exclusive feature that allows navigation using the face, offering a practical alternative for those with motor disorders.
Content and Sound at Your Fingertips
In addition to visual and navigation options, the plugin enhances content consumption:
- Reading Mode: Activate reading mode to focus solely on the main text.
- Block Animations: Eliminate visual distractions by disabling animations.
- Integrated Dictionary: Access a dictionary for quick term lookups.
- Audio Features: Use the text reader to listen to content or navigate by voice command.
Global Inclusion and Call to Action
With global inclusion in mind, the plugin is also available in English and Spanish, broadening its reach. This partnership between Turma do Jiló and Perto Digital demonstrates a commitment to building a more welcoming and just society.
Digital inclusion is within everyone's reach. Now, you are invited to visit the Turma do Jiló website, test each feature of this plugin, and share this incredible innovation. Be part of this journey and help build a future where no one is left behind!
