Consistency and Progress on the National Circuit

Pietra's recent record on the circuit highlights her consistent presence among top contenders. After earning top-three podium spots in Brasília and Aracaju the previous year, the triathlete maintained that momentum with back-to-back podium finishes at the Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro events this season. In Florianópolis, her goal is to take another step forward and deliver her best performance of the year.

Her physical preparation continues to build on the aerobic base developed for the World Championship in Nice. According to the triathlete, uninterrupted training allowed her to sustain a high competitive pace heading into the Santa Catarina event, viewing the race as the ideal conclusion to her year across all three disciplines.

Transition to Cycling at the Jogos Abertos

While Ironman 70.3 Florianópolis marks her official farewell to triathlon for the year, Pietra's sporting calendar still holds one more competitive event. The athlete confirmed her participation in the Jogos Abertos de Santa Catarina (JASC), a traditional regional event she jokingly refers to as the 'World Championship of Santa Catarina.'

Her participation in JASC, however, will be dedicated exclusively to cycling events. To prepare, her training routine will undergo specific adjustments throughout the month, placing a strong emphasis on pure time trialing—a discipline with distinct technical and physiological demands compared to the cycling leg in a triathlon.
