When life presents immense challenges, the power of the mind and a positive attitude can be a miraculous key to transforming circumstances. Facing the Crisis: The Beginning of Transformation

Sister Nok was diagnosed with stage 3, progressing to stage 4, ovarian cancer, a stage causing significant medical concern. At that time, Sister Nok's CA125 cancer marker was as high as 93.4 (the normal range is around 13.25). Additionally, she had fluid in her right lung, along with rib and abdominal pain, causing her to walk hunched over due to discomfort. This left her feeling insecure and unable to live normally. Despite her condition, Sister Nok maintained a bright smile and immense courage, inspiring many who heard her story.

Concerned about the uncertain future, Dr. Ddnard called Sister Nok for an urgent consultation, providing guidance on both physical and mental self-care, emphasizing that health recovery must begin from within.

Dr. Ddnard's Holistic Healing Approach

Cultivating Joy and a Positive Attitude

The first thing Dr. Ddnard emphasized was to keep the mind “always joyful and cheerful,” preventing despair. She advised focusing on the “51% chance” of recovery and clearly visualizing herself alive and fully healed. Having a strong mind focused on positive things helps create energy that impacts the body's functions.

A Conducive Healing Environment

Dr. Ddnard advised Sister Nok to “move residences” from where she might have felt isolated, to a condominium where hundreds of 'Khem Thit Cheevit' (Life Compass) students lived together. This provided a social environment for interaction, preventing despondency and enhancing vitality. Meditating with small groups of friends in each room also fostered an atmosphere of support and encouragement. Sister Nok's immediate decision to relocate reflected her determination to do everything possible to save her life.

Nurturing the Body from Within

Beyond mental care, physical nourishment is also crucial. Sister Nok began by consuming vitamin supplements and plant-based protein supplements, especially CelluFood, supported by Khun Kalamare Patcharasri Benjamard, which Sister Nok took 6-8 sachets daily, along with other proteins. This nutritional care helped Sister Nok sleep and excrete normally, even while undergoing chemotherapy.

Sister Nok continued to live her daily life happily and cautiously, for instance, by wearing a face mask and avoiding crowded areas. Additionally, she allowed herself small mental pleasures, such as tasting a little cake, to keep her spirits “refreshed,” without neglecting overall physical health.

Obstacles Are Stepping Stones to Growth

Dr. Ddnard emphasized that no matter what illnesses, life problems, or discouragement we face, we should never “feel guilty about being happy.” Doing good deeds, meditating, and helping others are things we should continue, without worrying if others understand, because we cannot explain our lives to everyone.

She taught that obstacles and challenges in life don't come to make us collapse, but are a “force” to push us to rise in the most excellent and remarkable way. It's like a “dark sky: the darker it gets, the brighter and longer the subsequent daylight will be.” Every crisis is an opportunity to adjust our qualities, to learn new things, and to grow into a new person worthy of the best life we desire.

Choose Happiness in Every Moment

Dr. Ddnard invites us to realize that “when pressure and suffering will end, it's when we stop demanding it to end.” When our mind becomes smooth and serene, and we are ready to be with the situation peacefully, then problems and challenges will unravel and disappear from our lives. This is because life knows better than us where we are, and it sends obstacles to develop the qualities we need.

Sister Nok has proven that even in the most difficult times, she chose to be cheerful, happy, and live her life most wonderfully. We don't have to wait for problems to disappear before being happy; instead, we can “feel excellent even while the challenge persists.” Our positive feelings act as a magnet, attracting the best situations into our lives.

Overcoming the internal desire to abandon oneself to sadness and sorrow is the most significant challenge. Dr. Ddnard compares feelings to clothes we choose to wear: we can “take off this shirt” and “put on the most powerful shirt of cheerfulness, joy, and optimism” at any time.

The story of Sister Nok and Dr. Ddnard's teachings confirm that miracles are truly possible. We only need to open our minds to learn, develop ourselves, and choose happiness in every moment. Regardless of external circumstances, a wonderful and excellent life always awaits us.
