BocaTV Studio Construction on Paulista Hits Seven Months

Construction of BocaTV's new studio on Avenida Paulista has reached seven months of work since starting in February. The ground-floor project required specialized acoustic treatment and structural reinforcement to neutralize the impact of street traffic.
Construction on BocaTV's new studio on Avenida Paulista reached seven months of work in September. Launched in February, the structural overhaul transformed a ground-floor space located on one of the busiest corners in São Paulo.
According to Rodrigo Bocardi, the initial delivery estimate called for about four months of work, but the timeline was extended due to the technical complexity of the adaptations required by the building. The project is being carried out in partnership with the firm Athié Wohnrath.
Among the project's primary technical requirements was canceling out external noise and vibrations caused by continuous diesel bus traffic along the avenue. In its original state, the open space suffered from severe reverberation and echoed the impact of traffic.
To make broadcasts viable, the studio received specialized underfloor treatment to eliminate vibrations, along with the installation of specialized acoustic glass and technical lighting systems. The structure was designed to allow street-level television operations without external sound interference.
