BocaTV Nears Completion and Prepares Pilot Recordings
Studio and newsroom construction enters final cleaning and equipment setup ahead of the channel's debut.
BocaTV's headquarters has entered the final phase of construction with the structural completion of its studios, newsroom, and technical facilities. The schedule calls for pilot recordings to begin within two weeks following final cleaning and equipment installation.
Construction at BocaTV's new headquarters has moved into the finishing and final assembly stage. The project is undergoing final structural adjustments to receive definitive technical infrastructure for broadcasting, lighting, and furniture, paving the way for testing and pilot recordings for the digital broadcaster.
The main broadcast studio's base structure is now complete, leaving lighting grid installation, camera arrivals, and anchor desk finishing remaining. The facility also features a second structured studio awaiting chroma key paint.
In the newsroom and operational rooms, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and HVAC systems have already been installed. The final sealing of double acoustic isolation panels was scheduled for the post-cleaning phase to prevent dust buildup on interior surfaces. Support areas, including pantry cabinetry, a coffee station, and restrooms, have also reached the finishing stage.
According to Rodrigo Bocardi, the schedule anticipates pilot programming to begin within one to two weeks following deep cleaning and technical equipment integration, readying the space for the official broadcast launch.
